A Run with a Purpose

Veerathon 2.0 is a community running event by Metamorphes Foundation as a tribute to the courage, sacrifice and service of India’s Armed Forces.

It brings together serving personnel, Vetrans, Veer Naris, families, runners, students, corporates, institutions and citizens on a common platform, and seeks to generate support for Braveheart Homestays, creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for deserving Armed Forces families.

As the principal initiative and programme coordinator, the Foundation connects the spirit of the run with a greater purpose: generating support for Braveheart Homestays and sustainable livelihood opportunities for deserving Armed Forces families.

When and where is Veerathon 2.0?

Veerathon 2.0 takes place on Sunday, 13 December 2026, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, in honour of Vijay Diwas. Venue is Jaswant Ground, Garhi Cantt. Routes, event timings & reporting time will be announced shortly. Please stay tuned for further updates..

Which race can I join?

Choose from the 21.1 KM Half Marathon, 10 KM Veerathon, 5 KM Citizens’ Run, 3 KM Family / Fun Run and 1 KM Veer Run. Choose a distance that suits your experience and fitness. Category-specific eligibility and age limits will be announced by the organisers.

What are the fees and Early Bird offers?

Regular fees are ₹1,400 for the Half Marathon, ₹1,200 for 10 KM, ₹800 for 5 KM, ₹600 for 3 KM and ₹400 for 1 KM. Early Bird prices,other offers and Permoation details are bing announced shortly. Please stay tuned for further updates.

The event welcomes community participation, including families, Vetrans and Veer Naris. The shorter race categories are designed to be inclusive. Contact the team to discuss access requirements; route accessibility and support arrangements will be confirmed by the organisers.

Will I receive a race kit, medal or timing certificate?

Race-kit contents, bib collection, timing arrangements, medals and certificates have not yet been announced. Confirmed inclusions will be published with the final registration details.
